Lilly Heidorn

Hi Coach! My name is Lilly Heidorn, I attend Worthington Christian School where I will graduate in 2021. I am the #1 pitcher for my school ball team and bat 3rd in the lineup. My Freshman Year, I earned the Rookie of the Year Award and the Offensive MVP Award with my .521 batting average, 2nd team All-League, DIII Honorable Mention All-District, and Honorable Mention Columbus All-Metro. My sophomore year, I earned 1st Team All-League, 2nd Team All-District, Player of the Year All-League, Defensive MVP, and topped it off by winning the league with my team. During the summer I play primarily at Shortstop and 3rd base for the Ohio Hawks Gold ‘03 and bat 2nd in the lineup. I currently have a .452 BA. I hope to major in Psychology and possibly Fashion-design, as both have been interests of mine for quite a while now. I have been training my entire life, devoting my time and energy to this sport after developing a passion for the game when I was little. In the off-season I go every day to D1, a gym near my school, where I work in both the weight room and field to improve my speed and agility. I am determined to become a better player every year by setting goals to motivate myself. I have learned the differences between a good player and a great player by watching college players in the NCAA tournament. If given the opportunity, I believe that I can show you that I am a committed player and would love the opportunity to tell you about my dream to play college softball.
