Cora Nelson

My name is Cora Nelson and I have played softball most of my life. The game of softball is one of my passions as I enjoy the game, the competitiveness and the challenges that come with each game, team and game situation. I started playing rec ball at an early age, but my dad noticed early on that I needed more of a challenge and signed me up for U10 club softball. I have been playing club softball ever since. I also made the Varsity softball team my Freshman and Sophomore year. Most of my career I have been behind the plate as a catcher but as I have grown as a player so has my position on the field. I am the starting short-stop for both my high school and club team but when needed, I step-in and catch. I enjoy both positions and am willing and able to help my teams wherever they need me.
