Clara Morgan

Hello, I'm Clara Morgan. To start off I am a multi sport athlete and love playing my sports. One big thing about me though is I love being around family and friends. My family helps me through my sports, my sisters most of all. They push me to do better and help me succeed. I am extremely grateful for them. I have been doing sports since I was 5 years old and my dad was the one who made me fall in love with my sports. He helped me so much and that is why I continue to play softball. Volleyball is my other sport, I have some much fun playing it. Other than sports outside of all the practices and games, I enjoy doing art and being creative with projects in school. Art helps me not think, when I draw or color I can just put my focus into just that and that helps me relax and take a minute from everything going on. It gives me a minute to breathe. Overall I am so grateful and always will be for the talent I was blessed with and my family most of all.
As a player, I am competitive and don’t let mistakes affect me or my mood on the field. I try to learn from everything. I am often lead off hitter and can be fast and aggressive on the bases. I learned a long time ago how to pop-up slide and am good at watching the coach and players from opposing team so I know when to take chances.
I am the kind of team player that doesn’t let her mood affect my actions on the field. I do my best to lift others up and keep being positive as well.
I play second and short and am not afraid to lay out for catches.
