Taryn Clements

I live in Seal Beach with my parents and older brother. In my free time I teach younger softball players, volunteer at the local ball fields, help clean up our local beaches, and visit the local senior centers to chat with residents. I also like music, surfing & playing guitar.
I’ve been catching for 11 years and love it. with pop times of 1.7s, I’m a threat behind the plate with my quick and accurate arm. I am a supportive teammate on the field and in the dugout. I am a gap hitter, can swing with power, and a highly effective small ball player. I have tremendous knowledge of the game, and one of my many championship titles includes winning the TCS World Series while calling my own pitches.
I work just as hard academically, having maintained a 4.0+ GPA all my life, and am taking all AP and Honors classes. My current GPA is 4.8, my ACT score is 34, and my SAT score is 1500. I look forward to attending Santa Clara University in the fall where I will major in neurosciences, and play D1 softball for the Broncos..!
